Finding other Websites

Today we searched for 5 different websites; and evaluated what they did well and what could have been improved.

The first website i found was an art website.

I liked the layout of the website; in the centre, and the simple colour scheme chosen. There were also many buttons to click on to reach certain sections,I think that the website could be improved by adding something to the background to make it stand out more.

I then found a fashion blog.

I liked that this website had a big eye-catching picture in the middle that changed after a few seconds to advertise what was on the blog. I thought that the social media links at the top were good. I think that the background was fitting, but the font for the buttons could have been made easier to read; and more writing could have been in the homepage.

I then found a music shop website.

I liked that this website was simple and easy to look through. I thought that the phone number at the top was good for advertising and noticeable. I thought they could have advanced the buttons more and maybe added more, and use more colour to make it stand out.

I then discovered a book review blog.

I think that the colour scheme is great and fitting to the subject of the blog, and that the pictures at the top that changed after a while were effective and make the blog look better. The introduction written was simple and easy to read, and this was an overall very good website. The one thing that was difficult was the font and text size of all of the writing, which was a bit small and hard to read.
